  3. I would have thought the green area of the map would have been labeled igloos! This is probably more offensive to Americans than anybody else. A lot of the world is under the impression that Americans don’t know much more than this. Canadians fall under this category. I am always trying to convince Canadians that the Americans know as much about the world as we do. Help me here. Question: Who is the prime minister of Canada?

  7. Definitely funny! I’m always up for a witty jab at our country. However, most Americans I know don’t have such a high impression of ourselves. It’d be more like “America, I swear we didn’t elect him.”

    My bit of green (’kangaroos’) has the occassional cynic that thinks the two green bits are actualyy 51st and 52nd states of ‘AMERICA!!!!1′

    And shouldn’t there be a green bit off the coast of ‘pussies’ ?

    Being pedantic here, but does anyone the rest of America (i.e South America, Central America, but not the uninhabited part of North America) ever get upset at just one country pinching the whole America name ?

  10. That would make me RED, or communist according to this map. However I am now living in that colorful red, white and blue. I think the map is missing something, NYC should be seperate and marked center of the earth, or something that conveys NYC’s dominance.
